Storm Update 3/3/18 5:30pm
The Town has extended the State of Emergency until 12AM on Monday, March 5, 2018, and our Emergency Operations Center (EOC) has been activated.

Approximately 95% of Somers remains without electricity. NYSEG has informed the town that they will post restoration times by 8AM tomorrow. They have indicated that it could take days until power is fully restored, so please plan accordingly.

DRY ICE will be available for pick-up starting at 6PM this evening at the Somers Police Department located behind the Van Tassel House off of Rte. 139. Please enter the parking lot via the Rt. 139 entrance.

POTABLE WATER is available at the Granite Springs Fire House through a tap in the rear of the building. Please bring a suitable container.

The emergency shelter at the Heritage Hills Activity Center will remain open where food and water is available. If you need transportation to the shelter or have a non-emergency, please call 914-277-3651. All emergencies should call 911

There are number traffic signals not functioning. Please approach these intersections as if they were a 4-way stop.

Please stay safe Somers.
