Tot Time Camp for Somers residents three and four years old is held at Primrose School, Monday through Friday, June to August, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., daily for six weeks. Children eligible for, but not entering, kindergarten in September are eligible to attend. Daily activities including arts & crafts, creative play, games and music, along with special events are planned.
Somers Day Camp for Somers residents entering grades K-6 is held at Reis Park, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in June to August for 6 weeks. Many activities including, but not limited to, arts & crafts, sports, games and trips, along with many special events are planned.
Tusker Trax forSomers residents entering grades 7-9. Participants travel to various sites throughout the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut metropolitan areas each day. This program will be held four days a week, Monday through Thursday, for 3, 2-week sessions. Fridays are used as make-up days in case a trip gets canceled due to inclement weather, Monday-Thursday. Trip times will vary based on location. The program will begin each day at 8:45a.m. (unless noted) and the end of the day will be based on where the trip took place. Due to the nature of the program, campers enrolled are expected to be mature, responsible, well behaved, respectful of the rights and property of others, and able to function independently within the group under staff supervision.
