Tusker Trax Camp is for Somers residents entering grades 7-9. Participants travel to various sites throughout the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut metropolitan areas each day. This program is held four days a week, Monday through Thursday, for 3, 2-week sessions. Fridays are used as make-up days in case a trip gets canceled due to inclement weather, Monday-Thursday. Trip times vary based on location. The program begins each day at 8:45 a.m. and the end of the day is based on where the trip took place. Due to the nature of the program, campers enrolled are expected to be mature, responsible, well behaved, respectful of the rights and property of others, and able to function independently within the group under staff supervision.
