For Handing in Completed Applications or Documents:

For your convenience, we can receive documents via our gold mail slot located at the Assessor’s door facing the parking lot.

In-person appointments will be welcomed at the front entrance of the Building Department: 337 Route 202, Somers NY 10589. (Brick Building)

- The Building Department will be accepting complete applications by appointment only, to make an appointment, please call (914) 277-3539.

- Please contact the office prior to scheduling an appointment to confirm what documents must accompany your application to help ensure a faster processing timeline.

- Contact our office 914-277-3539 for applications and forms that may not be found on our website and we will gladly assist you.

Building Permits (Reviews are by Appointment):

Plumbing Permits:

Please drop off completed permits (please be sure to check the last page of the application for all requirements) Monday through Friday before 2pm (we can review in detail anything that may be missing upon submission).  After 2pm you may drop them off via our gold mail slot located at the Assessor’s door facing the parking lot for our review and follow up if needed.
